Recruiting has been going very well for Virginia Tech football coach Brent Pry with the Class of 2025 over the last month. The Hokies have landed a number of key in-state recruits including four-star athlete Matthew Outten earlier this week.

On the defensive side of the ball, Virginia Tech has got some key commitments in the secondary and Saturday night another recruit made a commitment.

Three-star cornerback Major Preston commits to Ole Miss

IMG Academy cornerback Major Preston, who had Florida, Colorado, Virginia Tech and Ole Miss as his Final Four committed to Ole Miss. It shouldn't have come as a surprise that he committed to Lane Kiffin as that was where his Crystal Ball Prediciton had him landing. He did take an official visit to Virginia Tech last month, but was going to take one to Florida or Colorado had he chose either of those schools.

Preston spoke to 247Sports about his Final Four and it appears that Kiffin and Ole Miss won him over on his visit.

"It's great. I saw a lot. I got to meet with the head people of the school. It was great there. The relationship with me and everybody in the program, it's up to par."
