Back in January, the Virginia Tech football team got a commitment from three-star wide receiver Carnell Warren from South Carolina, becoming the first commit Brent Pry in the Class of 2026. Despite committing to the Hokies, Warren will be taking a visit to an SEC powerhouse this upcoming weekend.
Warren is scheduled to visit LSU on Saturday, where the Tigers landed a cornerback, Mansoor Delane, and an offensive lineman, Braelin Moore, from Virginia Tech in the transfer portal this winter. New North Carolina coach Bill Belichick offered Warren in February.
Warren picked Virginia Tech over fellow ACC schools Wake Forest, Duke and Georgia Tech. Things could get very interesting for the Hokies if LSU becomes a major player for Warren and gets him to flip his commitment, something Pry went through back in September when wide receiver Micah Matthews flipped from Virginia Tech to Penn State in the Class of 2025.

Tech heads to North Carolina State for a three-game ACC this weekend.
