So far, in the Class of 2026, Virginia Tech football coach Brent Pry has one commitment: wide receiver Carnell Warren from South Carolina, who committed in February. He had another commitment, but quarterback Peyton Falzone de-committed from the Hokies in November and committed to James Franklin and Penn State on Saturday night.

One thing that has happened the last couple of seasons in recruiting for Pry is that he has turned the program into a "family" atmosphere with younger siblings joining their older siblings in Blacksburg. Now, that hasn't always been true as former Hokies' cornerback Mansoor Delane, who transferred to LSU over the winter, saw his younger brother, who Virginia Tech made a priority recruit, commit to Ohio State. That won't be the case when it comes to the special teams for Tech in the future.

Virginia Tech football gets commitment from kicker Will Love

When it comes to special teams recently, Pry has always had an advantage when it comes to kicking. Punter Peter Moore had one of the bigger legs in the ACC and always was able to flip field position when needed, and when it came to field goals, John Love has been money on almost every kick.

He showed how big his leg was against Miami back in September, he nailed a field goal from 57 yards in a loss. Then, in the Duke's Mayo Bowl, in a 24-10 loss to Minnesota, he ended the first half by booting a 60-yard field goal in less than ideal weather for kicking. Now, he'll be joined in Blacksburg by his brother in two years.

Will Love, who will be a senior in the fall at Spartanburg High School in South Carolina, committed to Virginia Tech on Sunday morning. He picked the Hokies over Wake Forest, North Carolina, Georgia, and others. Family connections proved to be the difference as Pry adds another big leg in the kicking game.
