Virginia Tech Football 2025 Early Signing Day Tracker

This season, the early signing period is here in the first week of December for the Class of 2025. Entering this signing period, the Virginia Tech football team lost one player in the class when Matthew Outten flipped his commitment to Penn State back in early September. Wednesday, 18 future Hokies made it official by signing on early signing day. All rankings are from 247Sports. Here is a list of the newest Hokies.
Brett Clatterbaugh
A three-star linebacker from Culpeper, he was one of the early commitments from the class for Brent Pry earlier this season. The 6-foot-2, 220-pounder is the 12th-ranked player in Virginia.
Sheldon Robinson
Another in-state recruit, Robinson is a three-star safety from Woodberry Forest is the 21st-ranked player from the Commonwealth in the class.
Nathaniel Wright
Offensive linemen are always a need and Wright, a 6-foot-5, 275-pound played at Forest Park and was a tackle on both sides of the ball, making the transition to the offensive side for Virginia Tech.
Jayden Anderson
Anderson is a wide receiver from Virginia Beach and a 5-foot-11 speedster committed back in February to the Hokies. He is one of the wide receivers who Virginia Tech is high on.
Kelden Ryan
A quarterback from DeSoto, Texas, Ryan is one of the biggest commits in the class and can has a big arm throwing the ball down field, while also hurting opposing defenses with his ability to run.
Shamarius Peterkin
A four-star recruit from North Carolina, the 6-foot-2, 172-pound wide receiver committed to the Hokies over ACC foes North Carolina State and North Carolina. The Winston-Salem native was predicted to pick NC State.
Luke Stuewe
The Ohio native joins the Hokies as a two-way athlete.
Noah Chambers
A three-star linebacker, from Maryland powerhouse DeMatha Catholic, the 6-foot-2, 216-pound Chambers choose the Hokies over Maryland.
Jordan Crim
A three-star cornerback, Crim committed Tuesday night to the Hokies over three other ACC schools, Georgia Tech, North Carolina, and NC State right before signing day.
Carter Stallard
The three-star offensive lineman from Christanburg committed early to Virginia Tech and was only campus multiple times since his commitment helping recruit visitors on official visits.
AJ Brand
It’s vital that the Hokies got Brand signed as the South Carolina native was trying to be flipped by the in-state Gamecocks, but they failed.
Jeff Overton
A four-star running back, Overton, from Alexandria, is someone and who could push for some time as a freshman in 2025.
Sherrod Henderson
A talented edge rusher, Henderson is considered one of the better edges in his class and the North Carolina native can also play defensive end.
Zeke Chinwike
Another edge rusher in the class for the Hokies and he is another Virginia Beach native that Pry and his staff got to stay home.
Knajlij Harrell
Another Virginia Beach native, Harrell committed the same day as Anderson last February and the cornerback is one of the better defensive backs in Virginia.
Micah Matthews
An exciting wide receiver from Bridgewater, Virginia, Matthews is the ninth-ranked player in the Commonwealth and someone who can make big plays downfield.
Christian Evans
A defensive lineman from Ashburn, the three-star is the 13th-ranked player from Virginia and adds much-needed depth along the line.
Brennan Johnson
Another linebacker, the Highland Springs native was a tackling machine in high school and the 6-foot-0, 190-pound three-star fits the mold of a Virginia Tech linebacker.
Jahmari Deloach
The Hokies were able to secure a last-second flip on signing day with a four-star safety who previously committed to Cincinnati.
