As we get closer to June, things are going to start to heat up on the recruiting front for Virginia Tech football coach Brent Pry. In June, the Hokies are going to host some recruits in the Class of 2025.

So far, Pry has five commitments in the Class of 2025. Currently committed to Virginia Tech are linebacker Brett Clatterbaugh, quarterback Kelden Ryan, offensive lineman Carter Stallard, wide receiver Jayden Anderson, and cornerback Knahlij Harrell. Sunday, a four-star running back released his Top 5 and the Hokies made the list.

Virginia Tech makes list for four-star running back John Forster

Four-star running back John Forster of St. Joseph's Regional in New Jersey announced his final five schools and the Hokies made the list. Joining Virginia Tech is Illinois, Rutgers, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.

Forster has visits scheduled to Rutgers on May 31, Illinois on June 7, Wisconsin on June 14, on June and West Virginia on June 21. He was offered by Virginia Tech in December of 2022. There has been no mention of a visit to Blacksburg scheduled, which seems odd that he has the Hokies in his final five.

Forster is the No. 2 ranked player nationally at his position and the No. 5 player in New Jersey. You can watch his highlights here.
