Virginia Tech Football: Hokies get a slew of locked in recruit visit dates
By Scott Roche
Recruiting is booming right now for the Virginia Tech football team. Head coach Brent Pry and his staff have got four commitments from the Class of 2025 so far, including three recruits from the state of Virginia.
There is still plenty of work to be done, however, that is a good start for a program that is excelling in its rebuild with hopes high for the 2024 season. Recruiting never stops and the Hokies have got locked in visit dates from several recruits and some big ones over the next couple of months.
Wednesday night, five-star safety Faheem Delane, younger brother of current Hokie Mansoor Delane, announced that he was visiting Virginia Tech in June. After that, several other recruits announced that they are coming to Blacksburg. Here is a list of some recruits who have locked in visit dates with Pry and his staff.
- Skylar Harvey: June 21-23
- Jeffrey Overton, Jr.: June 21-23
- Micah Matthews: June 7-9
- Dee Bowden: March 15
- Noah Chambers: June 21-23
- Taeshawn Alston: June 21-23
- Deuce Edwards: June 7-9
- Major Preston, Jr.: June 21-23
- Carter Stallard: June 7-9
There are some priority recruits in this list and there is also a curious visit date for Stallard who has already committed to Virginia Tech. Regardless, June is going to be a busy month in terms of dates for Pry and his staff.
