Virginia Tech Football: 2025 Recruiting Tracker
By Scott Roche
One area that Virginia Tech football coach Brent Pry knew he needed to improve on when he was hired as head coach of the Hokies three years ago, it was with in-state recruiting. The previous coach, Justin Fuente, did not handle recruiting in the Commonwealth the way he should have and lost several recruits to major programs outside of Virginia.
Now would he have got most of those players to remain in Virginia and play at Tech? Unlikely, but the lack of effort made it easy for the recruit to look outside of Virginia to play in other college programs. In the Class of 2025, Pry and his staff have 17 recruits to date and 13 of them are from Virginia which is a rather big development.
Sunday night, the Hokies got their 17th program commit and four of the 17 commits are currently four-star recruits which is a good sign for the future. Here is an updated tracker for the commits in the Class of 2025 for the Hokies.
