Virginia Tech fans excited and thrilled with new football uniforms
By Scott Roche
For the last couple of days, Virginia Tech fans have been waiting for the release of their new football uniforms. The Hokies' football X account dropped hints that the release was coming on Friday, but after content was released on Thursday showing the new uniforms, they were released by the school on Thursday night.
There is a lot of hype around the Hokies entering 2024 and since AD Whit Babcock and football coach Brent Pry confirmed in May that they were getting new uniforms, Hokies' fans have been wondering what they would look like. Now they know and are excited about the new look.
Virginia Tech revealed their home and away uniforms shown by two figures sporting an all maroon uniform with a maroon helmet for their home combination, as well as an all white uniform with a white helmet for their away look. Virginia Tech fans reacted to the release of the new uni's.
Virginia Tech X is in love with the new uniforms
It's safe to say that it was worth the wait for Virginia Tech fans.
Even non-Virginia Tech fans seemed impressed with the new Nike threads that the Hokies will be wearing on the road on Aug. 31 at Vanderbilt, and then on Sept. 7 at home against Marshall.
The uniform release was early, but it was well worth the wait after we finally got a look at what we'll be watching this fall and they look very sharp.
