After losing to Florida State, the Hokies dropped a game at Duke where they lost Georgia Amoore early in the second half when she took an accidental elbow to her head diving for a loose ball.

Since losing to the Blue Devils, Virginia Tech has won seven in a row and will host Duke Thursday night at Cassekk Coliseum in a game that the school announced on Tuesday is sold out.
