When the dust settled on the 2025 NFL Draft in Green Bay in April, it took until Day 3 for any Virginia Tech football players to hear their names called. After the draft, some players who didn't have their names called were signed to undrafted free agent deals.
One of those players was former Hokies linebacker Keonta Jenkins, who signed with the Buffalo Bills. He joined former teammate Dorian Strong, who was selected by Buffalo in the draft, and former wide receiver Stephen Gosnell, who also inked an undrafted free agent deal with the defending AFC East champs.
On Saturday afternoon in Western New York, Jenkins and his two former teammates got their first chance in Preseason action, and Jenkins didn't waste much time trying to impress the coaches of the Bills against the New York Giants.

Jenkins was injured with 6:27 left in the second quarter against the Giants with a left hand laceration. It was wrapped on the sideline by Buffalo trainers, but he's a true football player and didn't miss a drive. He returned on the next New York possession and finished the game with a team-high six tackles and a quarterback hit.
Jenkins has had a good training camp to date for the Bills, and he has been making a case to try and find a spot on the roster with the Super Bowl hopeful Bills. He's off to a good start and made the case in his first preseason action.
Gosnell had four catches for 30 yards, and Strong had a pair of tackles for Buffalo in their 34-25 loss. Gosnell has been making waves camp with the Buffalo offense and is trying to land a roster spot with QB Josh Allen. He had an insane one-handed catch earlier in camp from Allen.
