A couple of days after having a busy weekend of recruits on campus at Virginia Tech, first-year football coach James Franklin is going to have a big day on Tuesday with another Class of 2027 recruit coming to Blacksburg.

Three-star quarterback Jack Sorgi de-committed from Louisville a couple of weeks ago and reopened his recruiting. Since he did, he has heard from several schools. He currently has offers from Wisconsin, Memphis, and Arkansas. According to 247Sports Crystal Ball, the Badgers are considered the favorite to get a commitment from him. On Tuesday, he will be taking a visit to Virginia Tech to see Franklin and his quarterbacks coach, Danny O'Brien.

Virginia Tech to host Class of 2027 QB

So far, early in this recruiting cycle, there has been no shortage of rumors surrounding the Hokies and signal callers in the Class of 2027. Andre Adams is high on Virginia Tech, and he will make his decision next month with the Hokies in the mix with SEC schools.

As far as other prospects go in the Class of 2027, Virginia Tech is also in the mix for Michigan de-commit Peter Bourque of Massachusetts. There are many power conference schools after the Tabor Academy quarterback after he de-committed from the Wolverines following the school's move on from coach Sherrone Moore.

One thing you knew when Franklin was hired in Blacksburg was that it was going to change the way things went in recruiting. The Hokies are going to be in on some of the top prospects in each class while Franklin and his staff are at Tech. His connections are as strong as they were at Penn State, and he expects a lot of future signal callers from across the country to make visits to Virginia Tech during Franklin's tenure, as they did in State College.
