We are down to the final two weeks of the college football season and we still have no clear idea who will be in Charlotte on Dec. 7 to play for the ACC Championship.

SMU remains on top of the conference as the lone remaining undefeated team after beating Boston College by 10 points at home Saturday afternoon, while Clemson wrapped up their portion of their ACC schedule by rallying to beat Pittsburgh, 24-20, on the road to finish 7-1. They have non-conference games with The Citadel and South Carolina remaining on the docket for the next two weeks.

Miami was off this week and currently needs to beat Wake Forest at home this upcoming weekend and then at Syracuse on Nov. 30 to clinch a spot in Charlotte. If either the Mustangs or Hurricanes slip over the next two weeks, then chaos issues when it comes to tiebreakers to determine the two teams to meet in North Carolina in three weeks.

This past weekend's results aside from SMU and Clemson saw Louisville blow a late lead at Stanford and allow 10 points to lose, 38-35, on a field goal as time expired. Syracuse went to California and beat the Golden Bears, while North Carolina became bowl-eligible with a home win over Wake Forest. Virginia went to Notre Dame and lost, 35-14, to an Irish team looking to solidify their spot in the 12-team College Football Playoff.
