Week 13 12-Team College Football Playoffs Rankings: Chaos Ensues After Massive Upsets
By Scott Roche
Just when you thought you had everything figured out with the 2024 college football season, another weekend of chaos ensues. This past weekend, there was chaos and a lot of it happened in the SEC, which shouldn't come as a surprise.
Alabama all but had their playoffs hopes dashed with a stunning loss at Oklahoma, who became bowl-eligible with the victory at home. Ole Miss went to The Swamp at Florida and was upset 24-17 after quarterback Jaxson Dart threw multiple fourth-quarter interceptions. Indiana suffered their first loss of the season at Ohio State in a Big Ten showdown, while Penn State escaped Minnesota with a one-point win.
As we enter the final week of the regular season, there is still a lot to be determined with a handful of meaningful games to not only determine the conference championship matchups but also potential College Football Playoff al-large bids. With that said, it's time for the latest 12-team College Football Playoff rankings prediction following Week 13.

There are three new teams entered this week and one of them is SMU. Yes, the Mustangs, whose lone loss this season was to BYU, clinched a spot in the ACC Championship Game against either Clemson or Miami. The Mustangs might have been the biggest winner from all the upsets this past weekend.
Arizona State is one of four teams in the mix for the Big 12 Championship Game with BYU, Iowa State, and Colorado, but for now, we'll give them the nod, but they have a huge rivalry game at Arizona this weekend. Boise State remains in at No. 12 after surviving a scare from 2-9 Wyoming.
