After a 30-23 loss at home to Wake Forest last Saturday afternoon, the Virginia Tech football team will visit 13th-ranked Georgia Tech on Saturday afternoon. The Hokies will be looking to pull a second ACC road upset after winning two weeks at North Carolina State.
The Yellow Jackets will be a tougher opponent than the Wolfpack was, as Georgia Tech is right in the mix for a spot in the ACC Championship Game in December in Charlotte and can't afford a slip-up against a struggling Virginia Tech team.

Georgia Tech vs. Virginia Tech: Prediction
This one is tough to call. No, not who will win, but by how much. Who thought that Virginia Tech was going to go to Raleigh and take down NC State? Outside of the locker room and the program, not many. Why would you have thought any differently? That was a stunner.
Georgia Tech poses a stiffer challenge with quarterback Haynes King. It's an offense that has put up some points this year, but also struggled at times. At 5-0, they have won some close games, including wins over Clemson and Wake Forest in overtime late. Against the Demon Deacons, there were the beneficiaries of a missed offside call that would have won the game for Wake Forest in regulation.
The Yellow Jackets have been in close games this year, but it's hard to envision who the Hokies can be within a single score in the fourth quarter with the injuries they have and the players lost in the portal since Brent Pry was fired. Yellow Jackets' fans have had this game circled since last year's loss in Blacksburg.
