After a final weekend of visitors, that was an impressive list for Virginia Tech football coach Brent Pry. One visitor who has a lot of Power 4 schools involved in his recruitment is three-star edge Keysaun Eleazer from Raleigh, North Carolina.
There were some names that visited this past weekend that could be considered priority recruits for the Hokies in the Class of 2026, and one of them, Zaevion Cleveland, wasted little time in committing to Virginia Tech on Sunday afternoon. Now, Eleazer is ready to commit on July 1, and he has released his final 5 schools, which include Virginia Tech.
Virginia Tech makes Final 5 for three-star edge Jaysaun Eleazer
Eleazer, a 6-foot-5, 205-pound edge, is the 24th-ranked player in the state of North Carolina according to 247Sports, listed his Final 5 of Virginia Tech, Stanford, Florida State, Georgia Tech, and Tennessee. Four ACC schools battling for him is making for one heck of a recruitment, although you have to think that Tennessee is high on the list as well.

Virginia Tech was his final visit, and before his trip to Blacksburg, he visited Florida State on June 15, North Carolina State, which is not in his final schools, on June 13, Tennessee on June 6, and Georgia Tech on May 30.
Pry already has one edge committed in the Class of 2026, Virginia Beach native and Green Run three-star Kamren Johnson, and Eleazer would make a big second addition to the class in Blacksburg. Eleazer is the second Virginia Tech recruit to announce an early July commitment date, as a four-star offensive lineman, Thomas Wilder, announced he will make his commitment on July 4.
So far, Pry and his staff have seven commitments in the Class of 2026, with most on the defensive side of the ball, but as we learn every season, you can never have enough depth at every position on your roster.
