When Virginia Tech fired Brent Pry last month, it started a domino effect of firings across college football. There are still several coaches on hot seats around the country, and it wouldn't be surprising to see another job or two open before the season ends. Then, when it does, the crazy carousel will begin.
One job that may be open before the season is over, and maybe before they take the field again, is at North Carolina. It seems after five games, things are not going well in Chapel Hill. There have been some rumors about some sort of changes coming sooner rather than later.
Whatever happens at UNC, it wouldn't be a surprising ending, as Belichick isn't adjusting to the college game as easily as he thought he would. We'll see what happens in the coming days and weeks, but it sure sounds like this isn't going to end well.
Virginia Tech on the ACC Network at Georgia Tech
After having their last two games on the C.W. Network against North Carolina State and Wake Forest, the Hokies football team will thankfully return to the ACC Network on Saturday when they travel to Atlanta to play 13th-ranked Georgia Tech.
There will be some familiar voices behind the microphones as Wes Durham will handle the play-by-play duties with former Boston College coach Steve Addazio as the analyst and Dana Boyle as the sideline reporter. This is a difficult game for the 2-4 Hokies against the 5-0 Yellow Jackets. The ACC Huddle crew will be on site as well.
