This past weekend, the Virginia Tech football team began this recruiting cycle by hosting several recruits, including some priority recruits. Now, with things expected to happen very quickly in June, the first full weekend of the new month offers another opportunity for more recruits to take their official visit to Blacksburg.

This week’s list of players is just as impressive of a list as the Hokies had last weekend. There is even a younger brother of some current players at Virginia Tech who is on the list to make their visit. Here is a breakdown of which players are expected on campus this weekend.

Virginia Tech hosting another big recruiting weekend

  • WR: Jayden Kitchens
  • ATH: Eltonino Hicks
  • OL: Malcolm Gaston
  • ATH: Elijah Moss-Williams
  • LB: Zay Hall
  • DL: Kamdon Gillespie
  • RB: Jamal Rule
  • K: Will Love - Committed
  • S: Nick Reddish

Some things to note here, kicker Will Love is already committed to the Hokies. announcing his commitment back in April as Pry's second commitment in the class. He is the younger brother of current Virginia Tech kicker John Love.

Another family member visiting is safety Nick Reddish, the younger brother of current Virginia Tech players, safety Quentin Reddish and transfer Joseph Reddish, a cornerback. Nick is highly-sought after safety in the Class of 2026, and other schools involved in his recruiting are Notre Dame, Wisconsin, and Indiana. A 247Sports Crystal Ball prediction has him committing to Notre Dame when all is said and done.

One name who is expected to make a visit at some point his cycle is wide receiver Carnell Warren, who was the first Virginia Tech commit in the Class of 2026 back in February. He has been doing his part in trying to help Pry and his staff recruit for his class. Regardless of whether or not he's on campus, this is still a vital recruiting weekend with some of the names that are expected in Blacksburg.
