With spring football practices wrapped up, it’s now time for the dreaded spring transfer portal cycle to open. This is one last opportunity for players to find a new home for the 2025 season and for teams to fill any holes they may have on their roster. You can bet that Virginia Tech coach Brent Pry will be active this cycle.
Last season, the Hokies picked up some additions that included quarterback Collin Schlee from UCLA and linebacker Kaleb Spencer from Miami, among others. It’ll be interesting to see which positions Virginia Tech attempts to target in this cycle, as you would think they would be open to adding some players, no matter what position they play.
It should be noted that players just need to enter their name into the portal during the time frame, but they don’t need to commit to a school during that same time frame. With that said, here is a Virginia Tech spring transfer portal tracker that will be updated when a player leaves Blacksburg or commits to coming.
Virginia Tech Players Entering the Portal
Davi Belfort
Virginia Tech's third-string QB, Davi Belfort, is entering the portal with four years of eligibility remaining.
