The ACC Network will make its broadcast season debut in Blacksburg and veteran Chris Cottter will handle the play-by-play duties with former player Mark Herzlich the analyst and Coley Harvey the sideline reporter.
Cotter has been at ESPN since January 2012 where he has hosted SportsCenter, College Football Live, and College Football Saturdays on ESPN2. He moved into play-by-play and has called lacrosse, college basketball, and now ACC Network football games.
Herzlich is a former linebacker/tight end at Boston College and was an All-American with the Eagles before turning pro. He played seven seasons for the New York Giants and was a Super Bowl winner before retiring and moving to the broadcast booth. He has called Virginia Tech games in the past and has done an excellent job. He is very insightful and offers various opinions.
Harvey is a general assignment reporter for ESPN who has covered everything from professional sports to college sports for the network. He has covered the NFL and MLB as well as doing some digital work for the network. If you are not home, you will be able to stream the game on ESPN.com and the ESPN mobile app.
