After spending two of the first three weeks on the road, the Virginia Tech football team will return to Lane Stadium this upcoming Saturday afternoon to host Rutgers in a non-conference game. The Hokies will be looking for a measure of revenge after losing last season in New Jersey.

For the fourth consecutive week, the Hokies will play on their fourth different channel, which is the new age in TV contracts and streaming. After playing at Vanderbilt on ESPN, Virginia Tech hosted Marshall on The CW Network and this past Saturday at Old Dominion on ESPN+, which turned into a huge disaster and frustrated Hokies' fans who didn't make the trip to Norfolk. Last season the game was broadcast on the Big Ten Network and this season, it'll have the same streaming on a conference streaming network, but this on the Hokies conference affiliated channel.

Virginia Tech vs. Rutgers: How to Watch

As mentioned above, this game will be broadcast on the ACC Network at 3:30 at Lane Stadium. It is the same time as last season's game at Rutgers. Virginia Tech is coming into the game off a 37-17 win at Old Dominion on Saturday night and Sunday, they opened as a favorite. The Scarlet Knights had the benefit of their first bye week of the season this past weekend and are 2-0 after wins over Howard and Akron.

Along with being on the ACC Network, the game will also be available on the ESPN app, and on Saturday, DIRECTV and Disney agreed on their two-week contract battle after DIRECTV shut off ABC and the ESPN networks right before kickoff between LSU and USC on Sept. 1. Now if you have DIRECTV, you're back in luck with getting ABC and the ESPN channels back, including the ACC Network. You can also listen on the Virginia Tech Sports Network.
