What channel is Virginia Tech's games on this week? How to watch
By Scott Roche
The Virginia Tech men's basketball team will be looking to end a three-game losing streak this week. Losses to Duke, Miami, and Notre Dame over the last two weeks have put the Hokies' NCAA Tournament hopes to bed, but it also has put their NIT hopes in question with a difficult remaining ACC schedule before the ACC Tournament next month in Washington, D.C.
Losses to Miami and Notre Dame on the road were second-half meltdowns at both ends of the floor, but especially on the defensive end. The Hokies allowed 54 second-half points to the Hurricanes and 39 more against the Irish. The loss at Notre Dame was the most difficult loss to watch this season.
This week, Mike Young's team returns to Cassell Coliseum to play Florida State for the second time this season, and then they get a road game at third-ranked North Carolina in what will be a difficult environment for them to play in. Things are spiraling quickly downward for the Hokies this season and right now if they are going to extend their season beyond the ACC Tournament, they are going to need to pick up some wins over the next four weeks, whether that is at home, or on the road where they have struggled all season long.
