It is a light week in terms of games for the Virginia Tech men’s basketball team with just one game on Saturday night at Notre Dame. The No. 16 Virginia Tech women will play two games this week and their first one on Thursday night is their biggest one of the year so far to date.

The Hokies will travel to North Carolina State to play the third-ranked Wolfpack, who will be looking to even the score with Virginia Tech after a 63-62 Hokies win on Jan. 7 at Cassell Coliseum on an Elizabeth Kitley basket with 0.9 seconds remaining.

These are two of the top teams in the league along with Louisville and Notre Dame. After playing NC State, Kenny Brooks and his team will return to Blacksburg to play Boston College for the only time in 2023-24. After beating North Carolina in overtime on the road, the Hokies have a lot to play for over the final month of the regular season with byes up for grabs in the ACC Tournament and they will try and cement a first and second-round NCAA Tournament weekend in Blacksburg like last season.
