This game will begin at noon and be broadcast on the ACC Network and FuboTV.
This is a very interesting matchup for Virginia Tech on the road. Not a lot of people had Syracuse sitting tied on top in the ACC standings eight games into conference play, but here we are. The Orange are undefeated at home this season, 11-0, they are currently on a six-game winning streak and coming off of a road win over No. 15 Notre Dame.
A mainly guard-dominated team, this is going to be an interesting matchup as to how the Orange are going to defend Virginia Tech's Elizabeth Kitley. The two-time ACC Player of the Year is averaging a double-double and how Syracuse guards her could play a big part in the outcome of the game.
If the Orange put a lot of focus on Kitley, then that could open things up for their shooters on the outside like Cayla King, Georgia Amoore, and Matilda Ekh. If there is one thing we've learned from the last two ACC road games is that they can tend to struggle shooting as they did at Duke and Florida State.
There is very little room for error this season in the ACC, especially on the road. The Hokies already have two conference losses on the road and if they suffer one here, it's going to be an uphill climb in the second half of the season with a lot of tough road games remaining.
