Wednesday, the 2024 ACC Women’s Basketball Tournament kicked off in Greensboro, North Carolina. Virginia Tech enters as the regular season champions and the No. 1 seed and they won’t take the court until Friday afternoon against the winner of Thursday’s North Carolina/Miami battle.

Just what the Hokies roster will look like when they take the floor remains to be seen. Three-time ACC Player of the Year Elizabeth Kitley's status is still up in the air as she rehabs from a knee injury suffered in the third quarter of Sunday’s loss at Virginia in the regular season final. Tuesday afternoon, she appeared on ACC PM and said that she is “feeling pretty good and taking it day-by-day.’’ That is good news for the Hokies and their fans.

Whether or not she will be in the lineup, if there is one area that Virginia Tech needs to get help with, it’s the offensive end. Kitley and Georgia Amoore have been their two main scorers, but if they are going to repeat as ACC Tournament champions, they will need other players to step up. Here are three players who can step up and help Kenny Brooks and his team win three straight games.
