Hunter Mclain to enter the transfer portal
Reserve offensive lineman Hunter Mclain announced on X that he is entering the transfer portal and he still has three years of eligibility remaining.

Like other teammates who have entered the transfer portal, Mclain will stay with Virginia Tech and play in the Military Bowl on Dec. 27 against Tulane.
Virginia Tech recruit posts message on X that he's in Blacksburg
Sam Brumfield, a highly sought-after linebacker from Middle Tennessee State posted on X that he is on an official visit this weekend in Blacksburg.

You have to think that he is going to run into Jaylin Lane, who transferred to Virginia Tech last season from Middle Tennessee State.
Virginia Tech 2024 women’s lacrosse schedule is out
The Virginia Tech women’s lacrosse team released their 2024 schedule. They will open the season on Feb. 10 at home against VCU, then have road games at James Madison (Feb. 14) and Mercer (Feb. 17), before hosting Queens on Feb. 21.
Their home ACC games are Syracuse (March 9), Duke (March 16), Notre Dame (April 13) and Virginia (April 17). Their road ACC games are at Louisville (Feb. 24), Boston College (March 3), Pittsburgh (March 23), Clemson (March 30) and North Carolina (April 6).

Virginia Tech will host Elon on March 6, Longwood on March 20, and Old Dominion on April 10 in no-conference games.
Virginia Tech wrestling to host Stanford
The Virginia Tech wrestling team will close out the semester Sunday afternoon at Cassell Coliseum with a non-conference match against Stanford, who just so happens to be coming to the ACC next season. The match will begin at 1 o'clock and will be broadcast on ACC Network Extra.
