As camp begins for the 2024 season, Virginia Tech football coach Brent Pry and his staff hosted several recruits in the Class of 2025 and 2026 over this past weekend for Hokie Fest. One of the visitors was the Hokies' first Class of 2026 commit, quarterback Peyton Falzone.

He joined several other commits from the class ahead of him and recruits in his class. Despite already being committed, Falzone was in Blacksburg enjoying his weekend, but also looking to build a strong recruiting class for the program.

Recruiting in the Class of 2025 has been very good for Pry who has made it a priority to keep the in-state recruits in Virginia and he's succeeding. Falzone committed early to Virginia Tech as a rising junior and he was offering some recruiting pitches to members of his class who are still undecided.

"I'm obviously locked in to Virginia Tech and I want to help build a strong '26 class. Every time I get on campus it feels more like home. The coaches have found great guys and I'm going to help out anyway I can to bring them home!"

Falzone, who committed on June 29, was on campus with three-star cornerback Nick Reddish, younger brother of current Hokie freshman safety Quentin, who you have to think Pry and his staff will make a priority as recruiting goes along. As far as Falzone goes, he expects to make multiple trips to Blacksburg this fall for games from Nazareth, Pa. and he hopes to do so and also do some recruiting while also enjoying a game and Enter Sandman.

For now, the 6-foot-5, 200-pound QB will return to Pennsylvania to prepare for the upcoming season while also keeping an eye on his future home in Blacksburg.
