Virginia Tech football CB target picks up Crystal Ball Prediction ahead of commitment
By Scott Roche
Saturday night, three-star cornerback Major Preston is set to make his commitment at 7 p.m. and Virginia Tech is one of the four finalists for him. One day ahead of his commitment, there was a Crystal Ball Prediction released for the talented CB and it was one that doesn't paint a great picture for Brent Pry and company.
According to 247Sports Crystal Ball Prediction, Preston is a favorite to commit to Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss on Saturday night. That would not be a big surprise as Kiffin has been having a lot of success in recruiting, however, you have to think that the Hokies are near the top of his choices as Virginia Tech was the second school to offer him and that didn't go lost on him.
"That is the crib, hometown. They were the second school to offer me. That's the home. They've been there since day one."

Preston's final four are Virginia Tech, Ole Miss, Colorado, and Florida. He is a rising senior at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. and if were to choose Colorado or Florida, he would take an official visit sometime in the fall. He is from Hopewell, Va.
It will be interesting to see where his commitment ends up being as Virginia Tech and Pry have been having a lot of success recently in the Class of 2025 and Preston would be a big addition to an already rising class. Over the last month, Pry has seen several in-state recruits commit and Preston would be another one to add to the growing list in Blacksburg. This would also be a rather big statement commitment with the Hokies going up against Florida, Ole Miss, and Colorado with Deion Sanders in the mix.
