Collin Schlee addition

Again, it may not seem like a big addition, but this could very well end up being one of the more under-the-radar transfer portal additions next season. Drones is the clear-cut QB1, however, if needed, Schlee brings a very similar skill set as Drones with his ability to run or throw the ball, something he didn’t get to do much of last season at UCLA under former coach Chip Kelly.

Schlee had a strong 2022 season at Kent State. Ok, yes, I know, it’s the MAC and there is a big difference between the MAC and ACC, but you can’t ignore the stats. Schlee threw for 2,109 yards, 13 touchdowns, and five interceptions that season for the Golden Flashes while rushing for 492 yards and four touchdowns. Last season for UCLA, he played very well in a win over Boise State in the Los Angeles Bowl by using both his arm and legs. If needed, Schlee should have no problem sliding in and running the offense.
