So far, so good for Virginia Tech men's basketball coach Mike Young when it comes to recruiting in the Class of 2025. To date, the veteran coach had two commitments in that class, a pair of four-stars. Monday, the Hokies made the final three for a Top 60 recruit in the class.

Four-star forward Jordan Scott, who is ranked 51st in the country according to 247Sports and he is the No. 2 ranked player in the state of Virginia. Also making the list with the Hokies are Maryland and Michigan State. You would think with Tom Izzo involved, the Spartans are going to make a big push for the talented player.

The 6-foot-7 South Lakes High School rising senior is scheduled to take a trip to Michigan State in early September according to 247Sports, but you would have to think that he would schedule a trip to Blacksburg at some point. According to On3 Sports, Scott has taken unofficial visits to his final three.

Currently in the Class of 2025, Virginia Tech has commitments from four-star center Christian Gurdak and three-star forward Sin'Cere Jones. Gurdak was a huge addition for Young and Hokies as the Gonzaga Prep standout picked Virginia Tech over Notre Dame, which is a big win in terms of the ACC down the line.

Jones was the first commit to the Class of 2025 last month and the 13th-ranked player in Virginia is another athletic forward and with just two commits, Young is building a very good front court in the Class of 2025 and Scott would be another big commitment to that class.
