A two-time Second-Team All-ACC honoree, Jeff King wasn't drafted until the Carolina Panthers selected him 155th overall in the fifth round of the 2005 NFL Draft.

In his rookie season, King saw the field in 12 games but had just one touchdown on his only reception for the year.

The following seasons for King were much more fruitful as he amassed a career total of 156 catches, 1,323 receiving yards, and 12 total touchdowns.

King was also utilized as a kick returner where he garnered an additional 76 yards throughout his career. His playing career lasted until 2013 before he joined the executive board of the Chicago Bears.
