It was an ugly start to the post-holiday break for the Hokies. They were blown out at Wake Forest, 86-63 and it was never really that close. They get a full week off and it's going to be a long week for Mike Young and his team. They can't afford many more losses like that this season.

The Panthers' trip to Western New York ended with an 81-73 loss to the Orange. Pittsburgh led 38-30 at halftime but gave up 51 second-half points to remain winless in conference play.
