Last week Clemson was on top of the ACC Power Rankings for men's basketball and did they remain in the top spot a week later after suffering their first loss to Memphis?

The Panthers had one game this week and it was an impressive 36-point win at home over South Carolina State. The Panthers are still one team in the ACC that is worth keeping an eye on once conference play begins after the first of the year.

The Tar Heels had one game this week and suffered a four-point loss to Kentucky, 87-83, in Atlanta on Saturday. They don't have much time to dwell on the loss to the Wildcats as they play Oklahoma on Wednesday night at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte.

The Blue Devils had one game last week and beat Hofstra, 89-68, at Cameron Indoor Stadium. Like North Carolina, Duke has a huge non-conference game this week against Baylor, who was beaten by Michigan State over the weekend. This is a big test for the Blue Devils that they need to take advantage of.
