We did it. We have made it to game week for the 2024 college football season. It's not a huge schedule, but it's a schedule where we can sit down in front of the TV and watch football. Three ACC teams, Florida State, Georgia Tech, and SMU will be in action with the Seminoles and Yellow Jackets playing each other in Ireland while first-year member Mustangs playing at Nevada in a non-conference game.

California, Stanford, and SMU are joining the ACC this season to make it a 17-team league for football and only four schools, Florida State, Clemson, Miami, and North Carolina State, cracked the Preseason Associated Press Top 25 with Louisville and Virginia Tech just missing being in a group of teams that received votes.

As we enter game week and camps are beginning to slowly come to an end for teams, let's release the Preseason ACC Football Power Rankings for the 2024 season.

. . . ACC. . . 17. . 446.

This is a big season, to say the least, for the Cavaliers and the future of head coach Tony Elliott. It wouldn't be surprising to see them improve their win total from last season, but not become bowl-eligible this fall.

. . . . . 517. ACC. . . 16

The first season in the ACC will be interesting for the Cardinal who struggled over the last couple of seasons in the PAC-12 but are hoping to find more success in the ACC. We'll see. The Hokies will travel out West on Oct. 5.
