There was movement in the recent ACC Men's Basketball Power Rankings this week, including Virginia and North Carolina State rising, while Virginia Tech and Syracuse fall.

The Blue Devils put together an impressive defensive performance at Virginia Tech last Monday, but they allowed 93 points at North Carolina in a loss that head coach Jon Scheyer was not thrilled with. They have a pair of get-back-on-track home games this week.

I wasn't kidding last week when I said here come the Cavaliers. Virginia ran their winning streak to six games with an impressive road win at Clemson Saturday by a point. Jordan Minor continues to be big on both ends of the floor for the Cavaliers. This is a big week in Charlottesville with two final conference games.

Yup, they lost at Georgia Tech, go figure, but they sent a message to the rest of the ACC with an impressive performance against Duke that it's going a lot to unseat them at the top. Right now, it's the Tar Heels and then everyone else.
