Virginia Tech women's basketball coach Megan Duffy has been adding to the 2026-27 roster with some incoming freshman commitments over the last couple of weeks. Recently, Francesca Baldassarre and Jessica Dimaro committed to be the 12th and 13th roster players for next season.
As far as the Class of 2027 goes, Duffy has one commitment from Liilie Graves, the 55th-ranked recruit in her class. A guard/forward, Graves, who hails from Lafayette, Indiana, was a nice start to the class for Duffy.
There are going to be some key visits in the class coming up this summer and in the fall. Virginia Tech is scheduled to host a four-star wing, Nevaeh Roberson, will visit Blacksburg on July 31, among her visits lined up for the summer and early fall. North Carolina, Ole Miss, and Florida are also in the mix. On Wednesday, Duffy and the Hokies picked up a second commitment in the Class of 2027 with four-star guard Dani Robinson.

Robinson, who lives in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. if the 36th-ranked recruit according to ESPN and she picked Duffy and Virginia Tech over Oregon, Florida, California, Syracuse, Stanford, SMU, Washington State, and others.
COMMIT: The #Hokies snag ANOTHER consensus 4⭐️ guard for the class of 2027 with Dani Robinson (5-10)!

Robinson's commitment leaves Duffy with a roster of 12 players currently for the 2027-28 season, which doesn't include potential players added from the Transfer Portal or any more commits in the class. Of course, given the current state of the Transfer Portal, Duffy could lose some players following next season, but with Roberson visiting at the end of the month, maybe the Hokies can get another commitment from her.
Duffy is building a nice recruiting résumé very quickly at Virginia Tech in what is going to be her third season in Blacksburg. She continues to recruit at a high level, which is a promising sign for the future.
