Latest PFF mock draft has five Virginia Tech players picked this weekend in Green Bay

Pro Football Focus dropped their latest seven-round draft, and they had five Virginia Tech players going to different teams. Here is a breakdown of where the PFF analysts have the Hokies players going,

  • Round 3, No. 91: Dorian Strong, CB, Baltimore Ravens
  • Round 4, No. 112: Aeneas Peebles, DL, New Orleans Saints
  • Round 5, No. 154: Antqaun Powell-Ryland, Edge, Miami Dolphins
  • Round 5, No. 156: Jaylin Lane, WR, Pittsburgh Steelers
  • Round 6, No. 188: Bhayshul Tuten, RB, Tennessee Titans

When the draft process started with mocks, most Virginia Tech players were expected to Day 3 picks and that's the case here, but Strong moving up to a Day 2 pick potentially is no surprise. Two other players who could make the move to a Friday pick is Lane and Tuten. Don't be surprised if that happens.

Lane and Tuten have been making waves the last couple of weeks leading into the draft and have raised their stock after a good showing at the NFL Combine. It'll be interesting to see where each player ends up after this weekend.
