How to Watch Virginia Tech vs. Radford Women's Basketball Game
By Scott Roche
It must feel like it has been a long time since the Virginia Tech women's basketball team has played inside of Cassell Coliseum. Truth be told, it has. The last time the Hokies were at home was on Nov. 23 in a win over Elon that saw Rose Micheaux record a triple-double.
Since that afternoon, Virginia Tech has played their last four games away from Blacksburg, splitting their two games at the Fort Myers Tip-Off, beating Davidson before losing to Michigan in the Championship Game. The Hokies then beat Georgia in the ACC/SEC Challenge before dropping their ACC opener last Sunday afternoon at Duke. After being road warriors for three weeks, Megan Duffy and her team finally return to Blacksburg to play a game at home against Radford.

This game will tip off four hours after the Hokies men host Navy in a rare December doubleheader in Blacksburg and like the men, this should be a bounce-back game for Duffy and her team after their loss to the Blue Devils seven days ago.
- Date: Sunday, Dec. 15
- Time: 4 p.m.
- Venue: Cassell Coliseum
- How to Watch: ACC Network Extra
- Virginia Tech Record: 7-3
- Radford Record: 1-9
This game should be a statement game for the Hokies. The Highlanders are coming in on an eight-game losing streak with losses to Western Carolina, Virginia, Navy, Norfolk State, Western Kentucky, Loyola (Maryland), Clemson and East Tennessee State University. The one common opponent this season so far is Duke and the Blue Devils beat Radford, 89-36, in Durham.
This is the next to last non-conference game for Virginia Tech before ACC play kicks into full steam ahead mode after the New Year. The Hokies will host Campbell next weekend and should get some momentum going into the difficult conference schedule.
