Coming off a bye, the Virginia Tech football team kicked off the second half of their season with a 42-21 win over Boston College last Thursday night at Lane Stadium. It started a stretch for the Hokies where they play four of their final six games in Blacksburg.
After nine days off, the Hokies will return to Lane Stadium on Saturday afternoon to host Georgia Tech in what should be a good game. With the game five days away and turn our attention to Week 9, here is all the streaming information you need to watch Georgia Tech at Virginia Tech this upcoming weekend from Blacksburg.
How to Watch Georgia Tech vs. Virginia Tech with & without cable
Last week, it was announced that this game is going to be a noon kickoff for Virginia Tech's Homecoming and it will be broadcast on the ACC Network. Aside from that, you can watch the game streaming on the ESPN app and ESPN.com. They will also be available on Fubo.TV and DIRECTV after they settled their dispute with ESPN and Disney back in September.
This will be another broadcast on the ACC Network for the Hokies as their home game against Rutgers on Sept. 21 as was their 31-7 victory at Stanford on Oct. 5. One huge storyline surrounding this game will be the status of Yellow Jackets quarterback Haynes King, who missed Saturday's loss to Notre Dame in Atlanta at the Dome. Coach Brent Keys did not tip his hand following Georgia Tech's loss to the Irish Saturday afternoon.
This is a huge game for Virginia Tech, who despite their 3-3 start to the season, at 2-1 in the ACC, the Hokies still have their goals in front of them as far as the ACC race goes, they just have to go out and control what they can control.
