So far this summer, there have been a handful of former Virginia Tech football players who have opened some eyes in training camps. One of those players is Bhayshul Tuten.
Selected on Day 3 of the NFL Draft in April in Green Bay by the Jacksonville Jaguars, the North Carolina A&T transfer has been impressive in Northern Florida in minicamp back in June and training camp so far this summer. Last weekend, in Jacksonville's first preseason game, he scored an electric touchdown against the Pittsburgh Steelers, where he carried several defenders into the end zone.
On Sunday in the Jaguars' second preseason game of the summer, he once again found the end zone and continues to push to be a big part of Jacksonville's offense this upcoming season.

Jacksonville visited the New Orleans Saints at the Caesars Superdome for a standalone preseason game, and for the second consecutive weekend, the former Hokies running back impressed. He rushed for a team-high 35 yards on 10 carries and scored a second-quarter touchdown in what ended as a 17-17 tie.

Jacksonville first-year coach Liam Coen has liked what he has seen from Tuten so far, but he is still the third running back behind Travis Etienne, Jr., and Tank Bigsby, both of whom had only two touches on Sunday afternoon.
If there is one Virginia Tech player who was drafted or signed to an undrafted free agent contract that is going to make an impact, and a big one, it's Tuten. He was one writer's preseason fantasy sleeper pick, and if you're the Jaguars, there's just too much talent not to have the ball in his hands at some point. As Hokies' fans know, he's also very good catching the ball out of the backfield. Tuten's stock continues to rise with each week this summer.
