Two weeks into the 2025 college football season, and the results have been less than stellar for the ACC as a whole. That continued this past weekend as there were some losses, some very bad losses, and some wins that were far from impressive, to say the least.

After two weeks, where does everyone fall after a weekend of head-scratching results? It's time for the latest installment of the ACC Football Power Rankings for the 2025 campaign.

ACC Football Power Rankings Week 2

The Cardinal dropped their second straight, 27-3, at BYU. They open up ACC play, hosting a much-improved Boston College team this weekend.

The Hokies are free-falling, and there really is no other way to put it. Outscored 34-0 by Vanderbilt in the second half after taking a 10-point lead into halftime, it all but puts the fanbase out on Brent Pry.

The Demon Deacons are off to a 2-0 start under Jake Dickert after rolling over Western Carolina on saturday.

Syracuse needed a fourth-quarter rally to get to overtime and beat UConn at home. Fran Brown making his team run sprints after the game was certainly something.

The Cavaliers had a golden opportunity to steal a win on the road against NC State, but were outscored in the second half, 21-7, and a Chandler Morris interception in the end zone sealed their fate in a 35-31 loss.

After a disastrous start to the Bill Belichick era in Chapel Hill against TCU on Monday night, the Tar Heels picked up Belichick's first win at UNC with a win over Charlotte.

The Eagles had a chance to pick up a statement win at Michigan State on Saturday night, but a 42-40 double-overtime loss was the result. Now they take a cross-country trip to Stanford this weekend.

The Golden Bears are quietly 2-0 after a 35-3 rout of Texas Southern. Don't look now, but Cal could be a sneaky bowl team in 2025.

Looking for a statement win for the program and the ACC, the Blue Devils were spanked at home by Illinois, 45-19.

It wasn't pretty, but the Wolfpack got the job done at home against Virginia in a non-conference battle. It might be one of those years where it isn't pretty, but NC State gets it done.

Another ho-hum result for the Panthers, this time rolling over Central Michigan, 45-17. They head to West Virginia this weekend for a very interesting non-conference battle.

The other bad loss for the conference, aside from the Hokies, was the Mustangs losing at home to Baylor, 48-45, in double overtime. This is a loss that will look bad come time for the College Football Playoff selection.

It wasn't pretty against James Madison, but the Cardinals got the job by pulling away late on Friday night. A win is a win.

No Haynes King, no problem for the Yellow Jackets against Gardner-Webb ahead of a huge matchup at home against Clemson on Saturday afternoon.

It looked like Dabo Swinney and the Tigers were headed to the worst loss of the weekend, trailing Troy 16-0 in the second quarter, but they rallied for 27 unanswered points for the victory.

After beating Notre Dame, the Hurricanes had no letdown against Bethune-Cookman, rolling to a 45-3 victory ahead of Saturday afternoon's home game against South Florida, which has wins over Boise State and Florida to begin the season.

This may be an overreaction, but the Seminoles followed up their upset of Alabama by routing East Texas A&M, 77-3. Thomas Castellanos and company head into an early bye this upcoming weekend.
