Don’t look now, but we are just one month away from the 2025 NFL Draft in Green Bay. This year, there are a handful of former Virginia Tech players who are hoping to hear their name called during the final weekend in April. The NFL Combine is in the books, and now all eyes will shift to Virginia Tech’s Pro Day, which is Wednesday.
This is one last opportunity for the draft hopefuls to impress any scouts or coaches that are in attendance, and this season, its lengthy list of Hokies will be participating. Here is a list of players taking part.
17 Virginia Tech players taking part in annual Pro Day
Scheduled to take part on Wednesday are Bhayshul Tuten, Jaylin Lane, Da’Quan Felton, Ali Jennings, Stephen Gosnell, Collin Schlee, Aeneas Peebles, Antwaun Powell-Ryland, Josh Fuga, Cole Nelson, Wilfried Pene, Jaylen Jones, Keonta Jenkins, Dorian Strong, Kaden Moore, Parker Clements, and Peter Moore.
Some players have already turned some heads with Tuten having a strong combine along with Strong. It wouldn’t be surprising to see both players rise ahead of the draft. Felton and Lane are wide receivers who have impressed leading into the draft as well and it would be stunning if neither was drafted next month.
Players who participate will be doing weight room and the verticle jump before workouts in the Virginia Tech practice facility that includes the broad jump, 40-yard dash, shuttle run and 3-cone drills.
Not all players will choose to participate in all the drills or workouts as some have already done so at other events. Two players that could make decisions difficult for scouts and coaches are offensive linemen, Clements and Moore. Both players are veterans who could find themselves on draft boards, but it feels like Moore has a chance to rise more than Clements. Regardless, it’s a big day for some NFL hopefuls from Virginia Tech.
