After missing out in 2022, the Virginia Tech football team is going bowling in 2023.

After starting the season 1-3 in their first four games, all non-conference, the Hokies rebounded and went 5-3 in the ACC to reach six wins. They were very impressive in their five conference wins, including a 55-17 win over in-state rival Virginia on Nov. 25 to officially become bowl-eligible.

There are several different bowl projections and Brent Pry’s team should find out shortly where they will be going and who their opponent will be.

It doesn’t matter to Pry or the Hokies where they go and who they play. Virginia Tech’s second-year head coach knows that becoming bowl-eligible is a big step for him, his staff, and his players as they look to take the next step in the rebuild with extra practice and a game together for one more time this season.

Regardless of who they play, the Hokies are going to enjoy it and as we all know, Virginia Tech fans travel well, which is expected what they’ll do this month. As we wait for word, let’s look at three dream bowl scenarios for Virginia Tech.
