After absolutely throwing down the hammer on every team they faced in the Blacksburg Regional, the men’s baseball team is on an absolute tear. They outscored their opponents 46-15 over the weekend, doing just about everything: hitting for average, hitting hammerin’ homers, pitching deep into games, and playing solid defense.
They look to be one of the most top-to-bottom teams in all of the NCAA Tournament right now.
The no. 4 nationally seeded Hokies will host a Super Regional tourney this weekend, trying to keep that success going. We all know that baseball’s gonna baseball and sometimes you will just lose on some close calls or plays – but if you dominate, you just dominate. The Hokies are hoping to continue their domination in Blacksburg this weekend.
