Virginia Tech basketball vs Maryland Odds: Line, Spread, Over/Under

Virginia Tech basketball vs Maryland Prediction Today

This is the first meeting between these two squads since 2014 and if the Hokies pull off a win it will be their first against Maryland since 2011. This game against Maryland will be a nice test to see how this team responds after falling short against two ranked teams.

Virginia Tech has been fairly good on the defensive side of the ball, forcing at least 10 turnovers in six games this season. If they can do that against Maryland it’ll disrupt the Terrapins offense that has struggled at times this season. A hot start for the Hokies could go a long way. If they can get a lead early it will put a lot of pressure on a Maryland team with shooting struggles.

For the Hokies offense, Nahiem Alleyne is a player to watch in this one. He’s averaging 13.1 points per game and has 20 assists on the season.
