After three straight losses, the Virginia Tech football team is looking to get back into the win column today against Georgia Tech. The Hokies have to be better on all sides of the ball to get back in the win column today.

Virginia Tech vs. Georgia Tech Odds and Betting Pick Week 9

WynnBET’s week 9 odds currently have the Hokies as 4 point underdogs against Georgia Tech. The money line has Georgia Tech at -180 and Virginia Tech at +160. The over/under is set at 55.5 points.

The Hokies had their poorest defensive performance on the season last week against Syracuse. Up until that game, it was the offense struggling to get going. The Hokies were able to establish a bit of a run game against Syracuse with the freshman Malachi Thomas and if he can find the same success today it could take some of the growing pressure off of Braxton Burmeister.

Georgia Tech is coming off of a game against Virginia where they allowed the Cavaliers to put up 48 points so if the Hokies can test that defense they could end their three-game losing streak. I think that Virginia Tech will figure out a way to pull out a win but it’ll be yet another close matchup.
