After two straight losses, the Virginia Tech football team is looking to get back into the win column today against Syracuse.  After a disappointing offensive performance last week against Pittsburgh this team has got to find the answers quickly.

Virginia Tech vs. Syracuse Odds and Betting Pick Week 8

WynnBET’s week 8 odds currently have the Hokies as 3.5 point favorites against the Orange. The money line has Syracuse at +145 and Virginia Tech at -165. The over/under is set at 45.5 points.

Both of these teams have struggled and are currently on losing streaks, Syracuse has lost their last three while the Hokies have lost their last two. The Virginia Tech defense hasn’t been great but they’ve been able to keep themselves in each game and I think they’ll do the same today. Syracuse relies heavily on the run game and if the Hokies can stop that they’ll put themselves in a good position.

This game will be low-scoring given both sides’ struggles and will probably come down to a late score or field goal to end it. This one can truly go either way but another loss for this Hokies team could be the last straw for a struggling coaching staff.
