Today is a big day in college basketball as players across the country are allowed to sign their National Letter of Intent in this early signing period. Many commits sign now those you will see some players and programs agree to back out of it at a later date if a coaching change happens or something else that makes him reconsider his future.
Today, was a very good day for the Hokies basketball program with the confirmation of the commitments of three Class of 2015 recruits.
Chris Clarke, Kerry Blackshear, and Justin Robinson all signed their National Letter of Intent today, giving the Hokies three more players for 2015-2016 and allowing Buzz Williams to publically talk about this strong recruiting class.
Clarke has been the most talked about given the wild road he has had over the last two weeks. Clarke committed to Tennessee on October 30th but flipped his commitment one week later to the Hokies.
Getting Clarke was huge for the Hokies especially since he is the best player in the state of Virginia and is from the Virginia Beach area. Clarke has the skills to immediately come in and gain playing time or potentially start though the Hokies are going to have impressive depth on the wings next season.

Kerry Blackshear is another quality pickup as the 6-9 power forward has the talent to battle Shane Henry, Satchel Pierce, and Zach LeDay for a starting spot and playing time next to Joey Van Zegeren for the 2015-2016 season. Blackshear projects to be the long term power forward for the Hokies.
Justin Robinson is the only commit that isn’t a four-star by every recruiting source but this three-star point guard projects to be the starter in his junior season after learning behind Seth Allen and Devin Wilson for two seasons.
Buzz Williams will be very happy to have Chris Clarke, Kerry Blackshear, and Justin Robinson completely secured for next season.
