Week 11 is in the books for the 2024 college football season and just three weeks of games remain before we get to Championship Weekend the first weekend in December in just four weeks.
This weekend offered very little in terms of chaos with Miami going down at Georgia Tech. Indiana remained undefeated beating Michigan at home, setting up a massive showdown on Nov. 23 at Ohio State. Oregon beat Maryland at home and faces a very interesting test this upcoming weekend at Wisconsin.
As usual, the SEC once again had a weekend with Ole Miss beating Georgia at home, but in the overall big picture, if the Bulldogs win out, it's hard seeing the committee keeping them out of the 12-team field. They will have another chance at a signature win when they host Tennessee this upcoming weekend.
Texas slid up thanks to Georgia losing and Alabama went into Baton Rogue and blasted LSU to find themselves back in our latest projections. Notre Dame blasted Florida State and they get a very interesting home game this upcoming weekend against another ACC team, Virginia, which went into Pittsburgh and beat the Panthers on Saturday night.

One thing is becoming more and more clear as head toward the middle of November, the ACC is likely getting just one team. Right now Miami is that team, but SMU is in the driver's seat for the championship game in Charlotte as the lone undefeated team in conference play. If they take care of business, they'll likely play either Clemson or Miami with a berth on the line. The same could be said for the Big 12, just one team, the conference champ.
