Week 10 is in the books for college football and it was another weekend where the results on the field had a big impact on the College Football Rankings Predictions. This week is the first CFP rankings release for real, which is going to be must-watch TV.
On the field this weekend, Penn State had a golden opportunity to solidify its spot in the rankings and pick up a statement win for head coach James Franklin. If history tells us anything, we should have known better. Franklin and his team had a chance to put Ohio State's CFP hopes on life support, but in typical Franklin and Penn State fashion, they lost at home.
Oregon went to Michigan and took down the defending national champs at the Big House while Georgia survived a scare from Florida before pulling away late. Miami struggled with Duke, but like Georgia, they pulled away late in the game to beat former coach Manny Diaz and the Blue Devils at home. Clemson had the most shocking loss, allowing 33 points at home to Louisville in a 12-point loss.
BYU was the biggest winner over the weekend after Iowa State was tripped up at home by Texas Tech, leaving the Cougars on top of the Big 12 standings. With that said, let's crank up the latest 12-team College Football Playoff Predictions for Week 10.
