Recruiting is beginning to pick up for the Class of 2026. Right now, Virginia Tech has one commitment from wide receiver Carnell Warren from South Carolina. Head coach Brent Pry has had several recruits lock in visits for the next couple of months, including this upcoming weekend and for the annual Spring Game on Saturday afternoon at Lane Stadium.
There have been some recruits who have began making commitments and some are beginning to trim their losts down and set announcement dates. One of those players is the younger brother of a current Hokie who released his Final 5, which included Virginia Tech.
Virginia Tech makes Final 5 for Class of 2026 star Nick Reddish
One of the players who have a lot of eyes on him this spring was safety Quentin Reddish, but he has been out of practices and last week at practice, Andy Bitter of Tech Sideline reported that he had his foot in a boot.
The name Reddish is going to be talked about in terms of college football and not just Quentin. His younger brother, Nick, who is a highly sought-after Class of 2026 safety from Charlotte, released his Final 5 schools on Sunday night. Making the cut along with Virginia Tech are North Carolina, Notre Dame, Wisconsin, and Indiana. His commitment date is set for July 11.

This is going to be a very difficult recruiting fight for Virginia Tech to win, even with his brother in the fold in Blacksburg. The three-star and 5-foot-11, 185-pound Independence High School standout has a Crystal Ball prediciton from 247Sports for Notre Dame.
He has official visits to all five schools lined up for May and June, and he will be in Blacksburg officially on June 6, according to 247Sports. Stranger things have happened, but winning this recruiting pitch is going to take some luck.
